BRK Ghost Barrel Tuner Kit

As fitted to World Record Limited Edition model

The BRK Barrel Tuner Kit is fitted as standard on the BRK Ghost World Record Limited Edition model. That rifle was so named because of the world record famous shooter, Fady Kiwan, recorded in an international Benchrest competition in 2023! It gives extra anti-vibration support for the BRK Ghost HP (High Power) models by adding barrel stability. This added reduction in vibration complements the already stable firing cycle that the Ghost’s monocoque action offers.

How Barrel Tuning Works

The BRK Ghost Barrel Tuner Kit changes the tension of the barrel, and therefore its ‘harmonics’. All barrels, even on recoilless rifles, will vibrate like a plucked string during the firing cycle. The amount of vibration will vary according to many factors – from pellet caliber and weight to power level. However, by altering the harmonic frequency, the shooter minimises the amount of vibration that occurs at the muzzle – making it a nodal point, rather than an anti-nodal point. So with less natural movement at the muzzle as the pellet exits, the better the accuracy. Fine-tuning accuracy can turn an already match-winning rifle like the BRK Ghost… into a world record-breaking one!

What is in the Barrel Tuner Kit

The Kit comes with everything you need to fine-tune your BRK Ghost’s accuracy. It’s design makes it easy to fit by the user, with no special tools required. However, if you do not feel confident, we would recommend that you take your rifle to an authorized BRK Brocock Service Center. In the kit is:

  • Carbon-fiber barrel shroud
  • Barrel Clamp and screws, with correct action spacer shim
  • Muzzle cap tensioner
  • Complementary hammer mainspring with internal dampener

Note: Kits are available for 600mm (23″) and 711mm (28″) barrel models. The barrel is NOT supplied with this kit. The World Record type BRK Ghost Barrel Tuner Kit is not available in 430mm (17″) format.

Important: The World Record type BRK Ghost Barrel Tuner Kit removes the shroud moderator but retains a 1/2″UNF adaptor, allowing an additional silencer to be used. If you wish to continue to use the barrel shroud on your BRK Ghost, you should opt for the  BRK Ghost Performance Barrel Clamp.
