Ghost Performance Barrel Clamp (standard upgrade type)
The Ghost Performance Barrel Clamp gives extra anti-vibration support for BRK Ghost High Power (HP) models. It fits both 430mm (17”) and 600mm (23″) barrel models. The Performance Barrel Clamp adds barrel stability to complement the already-stable firing cycle that the Ghost’s monocoque action offers.
Why clamp the Ghost’s barrel?
Even recoilless PCP airguns, like the BRK Ghost, will impart some vibration during the firing cycle. By reducing vibration, the Performance Barrel Clamp effectively stops the barrel resonating like a plucked string. And this is proven to improve accuracy, especially on higher powered airguns.
Note: BRK also offers a more comprehensive Barrel Tuner Kit for BRK Ghost HP models, as featured on the World Record Limited Edition Ghost model. This allows even finer tuning of barrel harmonics. The kit version removes the shroud moderator but retains a 1/2″UNF adaptor, allowing an additional silencer to be used. If you wish to continue to use the barrel shroud on your BRK Ghost, you should opt for the Performance Barrel Clamp.
Fitting
The Performance Barrel Clamp is very easy to fit, with no special tools needed. However, if you do not feel confident, we would recommend that you take your rifle to an authorised BRK Brocock Service Center.
Construction
The clamp is precision machined from high grade aluminium and also features integral Picatinny accessory side rails. It is finished in matt black which complements the Ghost’s action.
