BRK Brocock Bolt Probe (for gate-loading magazine) NOT GHOST
Indexing bolt probe to convert early Compatto/Sniper and Commander XR 10-shot rifles to use the BRK Brocock new-style higher capacity gate-loading magazine. This component ‘feeds’ the pellet from the magazine (or single-shot tray SST) into the breech of the barrel. The latest XR rifles come with this probe.
Note: Your rifle will run only one style of magazine, so you cannot mix and match old and new magazines.
Design
This version is for the newer style, gate loading self-indexing BRK Brocock magazines. It will not work with the original (legacy) 10-shot magazines. If you require a probe for the old-style rotary magazine, you will need to contact BRK Brocock.
Caliber Availability
The Brocock legacy magazine Indexing Bolt Probe is available in three calibers – .177 / 4.5mm, .22 / 5.5mm and .25 / 6.35mm.
When you convert a Ghost model to .30 / 7.62mm caliber, this probe is supplied with the barrel kit.
Fitting
You can fit this bolt probe yourself. However, always follow responsible safety procedures. However, if you do not feel confident, we recommend that you take your BRK Brocock rifle to your local service center.
