B-STOCK Contour Sporter Beech Ambi stock #194
Ambidextrous, metal trigger guard type to fits early models with 25mm (1″) cylinder
This is a B-STOCK Contour Sporter Beech Stock (#194) with ambi cheekpiece. It will only fit the earlier Contour models, with the 25mm (1″) air cylinder. It will not fit the later Contour ‘Elite’ models with the 30mm air cylinder tube. This stock type is designed for Contour versions which feature a separate, metal trigger guard. It is genuine BRK Brocock factory replacement stock and fully functional, but due to some slight blemishes or other reasons, it is not in the condition we consider ‘new’. We are therefore able to offer it as a B-Stock item, at a reduced price that reflects the imperfections (see condition report below).
What is B-Stock?
A ‘B-Stock’ item is a product which we consider is not ‘new’ (or ‘A-stock’) for a number of reasons. It may be because there is some cosmetic flaw, imperfection or damage, that spoils the look of the item, but which does not stop it from properly functioning. In some cases, it may be a test item that’s been returned, so we can no longer sell it as new. We offer such B-Stock products at a one-off, reduced price and provide a fully outlined condition report of it. B-Stock items are inspected, tested and sold as being fully functional. They are also offered with a (reduced) six-month guarantee against faulty workmanship. However, any flaws outlined in the B-Stock listing are not covered under this six-month warranty.
Why you might want a B-Stock item
Unless stated to the contrary, all B-Stock items are guaranteed fully functional. While their reduced price is reflective of the flaws, it gives people the opportunity to acquire the item much more cheaply than if buying it new. In the case of a gun stock, it might be that you want to replace your tired-looking, existing stock. Or you may want to protect your current stock by using a cheaper replacement for the field or range. Or you may simply want to practise working on this stock with a bit of DIY, safe in the knowledge that you’re not going to ruin the factory stock fitted to your pride and joy!
Condition Report of this particular item
Our factory technicians have inspected this stock. They consider its condition to be B-Stock for the following reasons:
- Some light scratch marks all over, with most notable on cheek lip
- Slight impression on grip chequering (RHS)

Compatibility
This beech sporter stock is for the full-length rifle version of the earlier Brocock Contour models, now discontinued. The early versions of the Contour PCP model have a 25mm (1″) cylinder air tube (it was 30mm on later versions). Also, this stock is for those Contour rifles which had a separate, metal trigger guard (ie the guard is not integral to the stock). So this stock will not fit any ‘Elite’ Contour model with the 30mm air cylinder.
This stock fits the full length Contour ‘Rifle’ model; a shorter stock is required for the Carbine version.
Design and Features
This beech sporter stock is ambidextrous, so it can be used by right- and left-handed shooters. It is expertly crafted from beech by Minelli of Italy. Fleur de Lys chequering panels have been etched into the pistol grip and forend. The cheekpiece features a stylish double carve profile.
The Brocock logo has been laser-etched into the underside of the pistol grip. The stock also features a ventilated recoil pad.
Fitting
This stock fits using the rifle’s existing fixing bolts. (Note: The stock is not supplied with bolts.) However, stock #194 is supplied with the metal trigger guard.
