B-STOCK Contour Elite Thumbhole Walnut stock #190
Right-hand dedicated, with integral guard. Fits later models with 30mm cylinder
This is a B-STOCK Contour Elite Thumbhole Walnut Stock (#190), right-hand dedicated. It will only fit the later Elite models, with the 30mm air cylinder. It will not fit the early Contour models with the 25mm (1″) cylinder. This stock type features an integral trigger guard, It is genuine BRK Brocock factory replacement stock and fully functional, but due to some slight blemishes or other reasons, it is not in the condition we consider ‘new’. We are therefore able to offer it as a B-Stock item, at a reduced price that reflects the imperfections (see condition report below).
What is B-Stock?
A ‘B-Stock’ item is a product which we consider is not ‘new’ (or ‘A-stock’) for a number of reasons. It may be because there is some cosmetic flaw, imperfection or damage, that spoils the look of the item, but which does not stop it from properly functioning. In some cases, it may be a test item that’s been returned, so we can no longer sell it as new. We offer such B-Stock products at a one-off, reduced price and provide a fully outlined condition report of it. B-Stock items are inspected, tested and sold as being fully functional. They are also offered with a (reduced) six-month guarantee against faulty workmanship. However, any flaws outlined in the B-Stock listing are not covered under this six-month warranty.
Why you might want a B-Stock item
Unless stated to the contrary, all B-Stock items are guaranteed fully functional. While their reduced price is reflective of the flaws, it gives people the opportunity to acquire the item much more cheaply than if buying it new. In the case of a gun stock, it might be that you want to replace your tired-looking, existing stock. Or you may want to protect your current stock by using a cheaper replacement for the field or range. Or you may simply want to practise working on this stock with a bit of DIY, safe in the knowledge that you’re not going to ruin the factory stock fitted to your pride and joy!
Condition Report of this particular item
Our factory technicians have inspected this stock. They consider its condition to be B-Stock for the following reasons:
- Generally in good condition, with a few light marks/scratches evident on close inspection – this stock just wants a spot of TLC!
- There is a small dent on the nose of the forend

Compatibility
This walnut thumbhole stock is for the Elite version of the Brocock Contour, now discontinued. This later version of the Contour PCP model features a 30mm cylinder air tube, and the trigger guard is integral to the stock. It will therefore not fit earlier Contour models, which had a 25mm (1″) cylinder.
This stock fits the full length Contour Elite; a shorter stock is required for the Carbine version.
Design and Features
This thumbhole stock is dedicated right-handed, so it can only be used by right-handed shooters. It is expertly crafted from walnut by Custom Stock of Sheffield. Skip chequering panels have been etched into the pistol grip and forend.
“Brocock” has been laser-etched into the underside of the pistol grip. The stock also features a ventilated recoil pad.
Fitting
This stock fits using the rifle’s existing fixing bolts. (Note: The stock is not supplied with the bolt or guard.)
