Ambidextrous. Fits early models with 25mm (1″) cylinder and which featured a separate trigger guard
This is a B-STOCK Contour Carbine Skeleton Laminate Blue Stock (#199), with an ambi cheekpiece. It will only fit the early Contour models with the 25mm (1″) air cylinder. It will therefore not fit the later ‘Elite’ Contour models which had a 30mm cylinder and integral guard. This stock requires a separate, metal trigger guard (not supplied with #199). Also, this stock is for the shorter-actioned ‘Carbine’ model.
It is genuine BRK Brocock factory replacement stock and fully functional, but due to some slight blemishes or other reasons, it is not in the condition we consider ‘new’. We are therefore able to offer it as a B-Stock item, at a reduced price that reflects the imperfections (see condition report below).
What is B-Stock?
A ‘B-Stock’ item is a product which we consider is not ‘new’ (or ‘A-stock’) for a number of reasons. It may be because there is some cosmetic flaw, imperfection or damage, that spoils the look of the item, but which does not stop it from properly functioning. In some cases, it may be a test item that’s been returned, so we can no longer sell it as new. We offer such B-Stock products at a one-off, reduced price and provide a fully outlined condition report of it. B-Stock items are inspected, tested and sold as being fully functional. They are also offered with a (reduced) six-month guarantee against faulty workmanship. However, any flaws outlined in the B-Stock listing are not covered under this six-month warranty.
Why you might want a B-Stock item
Unless stated to the contrary, all B-Stock items are guaranteed fully functional. While their reduced price is reflective of the flaws, it gives people the opportunity to acquire the item much more cheaply than if buying it new. In the case of a gun stock, it might be that you want to replace your tired-looking, existing stock. Or you may want to protect your current stock by using a cheaper replacement for the field or range. Or you may simply want to practise working on this stock with a bit of DIY, safe in the knowledge that you’re not going to ruin the factory stock fitted to your pride and joy!
Condition Report of this particular item
Our factory technicians have inspected this stock. They consider its condition to be B-Stock for the following reasons:
- Some minor surface scratches to the top lacquer coat visible in various locations, but pretty good otherwise
- This is potentially a one-off prototype stock, so quite rare

Compatibility
This Laminate Blue skeleton stock is for the Carbine version of the Brocock Contour, now discontinued. This earlier version of the Contour PCP model features a 25mm (1″) cylinder air tube, and this stock is for the model which had a separate, metal trigger guard. It will not fit later Contour ‘Elite’ models, which had a 30mm cylinder.
This stock fits the shorter Contour Elite Carbine; a longer stock is required for the full-length, non-Carbine model.
Design and Features
This skeleton stock is ambidextrous, so it can be used by both right- and left-handed shooters. It is expertly crafted from walnut by Minelli of Italy. Chequering panels have been etched into the pistol grip and forend.
The “Brocock” logo has been laser-etched into the forend panel. The stock also features a hard rubber butt pad.
Note: This stock is for a Contour Carbine action with a separate, metal trigger guard.
Fitting
This stock fits using the rifle’s existing fixing bolts. (Note: The stock is not supplied with the bolt or guard.)
